In September 2023, the Known Unknowns team took part in Up Late at SS Great Britain, part of FUTURES: A Festival of Discovery. We asked members of the public to judge a case involving intractable factual uncertainty; explained the different possible outcomes; and held a vote on the approach that the law should take (proportionate liability was the clear winner). We also became very skilled at making origami boats!
